KBA Guides Creation of a Wetland Mitigation Bank in Navarro County

KBA created a Wetland Mitigation Bank design and Mitigation Bank Instrument for a 900-acre cattle ranch located on the banks of Chambers Creek.  The Rockin' K on Chambers Creek Mitigation Bank will convert an ecologically degraded cattle ranch to native prairie, thousands of feet of restored stream, and emergent and forested wetland.  KBA is working with the landowner, construction contractors, and appropriate agencies, to ensure a successful restoration project.  KBA has developed the Mitigation Bank Instrument (MBI), completed the stream and wetland designs, obtained approval from the regulatory agencies, and is now performing construction oversight.
